As General Counsel of Heart Aerospace, Peter is responsible for ensuring that the company pursues its mission in a way that is legally and ethically sound. He is the company’s chief legal counsel on corporate and commercial matters and leads its compliance, intellectual property, and corporate sustainability teams.

In addition, he leads Heart’s corporate development initiatives related to capital fundraising, geographic expansion, and public-private partnerships. Peter's experience as a legal advisor spans the aviation and emerging technology sectors. His clients have included major international airlines as well as innovative transportation, cleantech, and other startups.

With a background in corporate law, regulatory affairs, and public policy, Peter has spent his career helping companies access public and private sources of funding to accelerate their growth and innovation. Before joining Heart, he practiced with law firms in Washington, D.C. and Silicon Valley, most recently Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, CA. Peter earned his law degree (J.D.) from the University of Virginia School of Law and completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University.
